The new BG-1500E shares the classic Jumbo body size and Art Deco styling of our Flagship model BG-2500 but with less ornate woods and inlay. It also boasts sophisticated Fishman Presys Plus electronics and a surprisingly low price! The 17” wide body is of choice maple and the top is close-grain spruce. The slim, fast maple neck has an adjustable truss rod to ensure perfect alignment at all times. The fingerboard and elegant, Art Deco styled bridge are crafted from genuine tonewood. An attractive strip of wood marquetry divides the back and the distinctive imitation-tortoise pickguard is bound with black and white ABS. The entire guitar is finished in a classic sunburst high-gloss finish and offers a big, robust tone that will please the most fastidious artist. Excellent guitar, well constructed, really pretty finish and a real sound machine as well. I have it's older, more ornate sister the BG 2500 but this new one will work perfectly for the occasional coffee house or fund raiser gig. I haven't tried the electronics yet but I'm sure they are fine.

Love the Jumbo shape and sound. Neck and fingerboard remind me of my 35 year old Yamaha 12-String (FG512). This guitar sounds great with or without amplification. MY stepson loves it too. Hope he's not TOO anxious for his inheritance!
