How do I return an item?

 
Return Policy 
  • Our return policy is 15 days from the day your item is received.
  • All items returned must be in new condition with all accessories, manuals, and packing material.
  • Returns received meeting our return policy requirements are not charged any sort of restocking fee unless the item was paid for with a credit card. All items returned that were paid for with a credit charged may be assesed a 4% return fee.
  • Any return with out of the ordinary circumstances or *special orders may be subject to up to a 20% resocking fee at our discretion.
  • Returns missing items or not returned as new will be accessed a 20% restocking fee.
  • We reserve the right to refuse returns after 15 days whatever the circumstance may be.
  • We will not accept returns after 15 days unless it is a warranty issue.
  • Shipping Charges are non-refundable. All credits will be minus any shipping charge.
  • All manufacturer warranties begin at shipment date, and will be handled through us.
  • Please email returns@InstrumentAlley.com for a return authorization number or questions you may have.
  • No returns will be accepted without a return authorization number.
  • Returns sent without a RA number will be refused or assessed a 20% restocking fee at our discretion.
  • Packages denied or refused upon delivery may be assessed a 20% restocking fee and refunds will be minus any shipping charges.
  • If you have a return, do not issue a dispute with your credit card company as all disputes will be subject to a $20 plus 5% of total item price chargeback fee.
  • Returns cannot be accepted on seconds, overstocks, blems, and open box items.
  • If a return sent to us is damaged in transit we will require the shipper to file a damage claim before any refund or replacement is processed; we will not issue a refund or replacement for any damage claim that is not honored or paid by the shipping company.

*Special orders include items generally not stocked in inventory. Items that have upgrades installed or added such as capo spikes, pickups, capos, tuning machines and other related parts that are not advertised as an original option on InstrumentAlley.com may not qualify for a return.
