Cancellations
Once an order has been placed it goes into processing. An order may not be able to be canceled once it is in  the process of picking and shipping. If you are placing an order and think there may be a chance that you will need to cancel within a few days of placing the order, please reconsider and make sure you want the item. We are not responsible for and will not cover or reimburse shipping costs on order cancellation requests that have processed or shipped within 1-10 days of the order being placed. If you call or email to request a cancellation of an order within 1-7 days after placing the order, we cannot guarantee it will be canceled. Processing time on most orders is 1-7 business days. If you cancel an order within this time frame, a minimum fee of $10 or up to 20% may be assessed. If an item is noted as out of stock, an ETA is listed, the item is noted as a pre-order, or the item is listed as unavailable and is requested to be canceled after the order is placed,  a minimum $5 fee or 5% of order total may be charged.  Pre order items are noted as "pre order" in the stock status on an items page.

Return Policy
If you are not happy with your order, you have options available for returning your item.

1. 15 DAYS- Return your item within  from the delivery date and pay no restocking fee! Returns paid with a credit card will be refunded minus a 4% credit card return fee.
2. 30 DAYS - Return your item within 30 days from the delivery date and pay a 10% restocking fee. Returns paid with a credit card will be refunded minus a 4% credit card return fee.
3. 45 DAYS - Return your item within 45 days from the delivery date and pay a 15% restocking fee.
   Returns paid with a credit card will be refunded minus a 4% credit card return fee.

To Qualify, all items being returned must be in new condition with all accessories, manuals, and packing material.
Returns missing items or not returned as new will be accessed a minimum 15% restocking fee or fair market value of the item being returned. This determination is made at our sole discretion and is a fair judgement call should you return your item missing parts, manuals, damaged or broken/in unplayable condition etc...

How do I return a product?

Please email returns@InstrumentAlley.com for an RA (return authorization). Please identify why you are returning the item and include your order number. We will respond with further questions or will immediately issue a return authorization number.

Who pays for the return shipping?

You pay the return shipping for items that you are returning. If you would like an exchange or upgrade, we will accommodate you by paying for the shipping of the replacement item. Shipping charges on the original order and on the return are not refundable in any circumstance.

• Shipping charges are non-refundable. All credits will be minus any shipping charge.
• Items that qualified for free shipping and that are returned will be refunded minus the original shipping rate.

Conditions and Exceptions

Returns cannot be accepted on seconds, overstocks, blems, and open box items.

• We reserve the right to refuse any return after 45 days whatever the circumstance may be. If you have an issue with your item, the manufacturers warranty will be in place and all returns, repairs and replacements must be handled through the warranty offered by the manufacturer. All manufacturer warranties begin at shipment date, and may be handled through us or the manufacturer, please inquire about product warranties to determine if we will help you service your warranty should you need it.
  
• No returns will be accepted without a return authorization number. Returns sent without a RA number will be refused or assessed a minimum 15% restocking fee at our discretion.
• Packages denied or refused upon delivery may be assessed a 15% minimum restocking fee and refunds will be minus any shipping charges.
• If you have a return, do not issue a dispute with your credit card company as all disputes will be subject to a $20 plus 5% of total item price chargeback fee.
• Returns cannot be accepted on seconds, overstocks, blems, used, and product sold as "open box items". We can also not accept returns on personal items like reeds, harmonicas, disposable products, cleaners, lubes, software, DVD and other recordable media.
  
• Items returned such as wind instruments that may require sterilization will be charged a $20 fee.
  

What if my item was damaged?

If you receive an item that is damaged, please email us immediately at help@InstrumentAlley.com We will contact the shipping carrier and have them pick up the item for inspection. Instructions will be sent to you on how to handle a damaged package or item.

• Any return with out of the ordinary circumstances or *special orders may be subject to up to a minimum 15% restocking fee at our discretion.

*Special orders include items generally not stocked in inventory which will be made known to the customer before shipment. Items that have upgrades installed or added such as capo spikes, pickups, capos, tuning machines and other related parts that are not advertised as an original option on InstrumentAlley.com. These items may not qualify for a return but we are usually able to work with any circumstance.

This site and the materials and products on this site are provided with warranties if stated. All items not containing informatioin on a warranty may acutally have a warranty applied. It is the customers responsiblility to inquire about item warranties. To the fullest extent permissible pursuant to applicable law, www.instrumentalley.com disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. www.instrumentalley.com does not represent or warrant that the functions contained in the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that the defects will be corrected, or that this site or the server that makes the site available are free of viruses or other harmful components. www.instrumentalley.com does not make any warrantees or representations regarding the use of the materials in this site in terms of their correctness, accuracy, adequacy, usefulness, timeliness, reliability or otherwise. Substitute Items
www.instrumentalley.com in the case of orders containing free items, or items included in the purchase of an instrument such as cables, cases, picks, stands, straps etc., may substitute an item of equal or greater value if the included item is not in stock at the time of purchase. Such items may be returned for the original included product but must be at the buyers expense.


Typographical Errors
In the event that a www.instrumentalley.com product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, www.instrumentalley.com reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. www.instrumentalley.com reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, www.instrumentalley.com shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price. www.instrumentalley.com shall not be bound by incorrect pricing, or description whatever the case may be. Items may vary in color, wood tone, materials and construction from what is advertised. Items not matching the description or images exactly may be sent depending on current stock and current factory specifications.

 

Term; Termination
These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by www.instrumentalley.com without notice at any time, for any reason. The provisions relating to Copyrights, Trademark, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification and Miscellaneous, shall survive any termination.

www.instrumentalley.com may deliver notice to you by means of e-mail, a general notice on the site, or by other reliable method to the address you have provided to www.instrumentalley.com.

Returned Checks/Payment
All returned checks are subject to a $15 return fee. Credit card disputes and/or chargebacks will be subject to a $20 plus 5% of total item price chargeback fee.

Debt Collection
In the event that an amount is owed on an order placed with www.instrumentalley.com, we will pursue collections efforts. Accounts and/or orders that are not paid immediately upon delivery will be termed "past due". Upon reaching this status, all orders not paid for will incur an annual interest charge of 35% or 2.9% monthly. Accounts not collected past 90 days will be forwarded to a collections agency for collection of the debt owed and the account will be assessed a $50 debt collection fee. The original purchase price, along with the fee and interest will be due upon making final payment.

Miscellaneous
Your use of this site shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the state of Utah, U.S.A., without regard to choice of law provisions, and not by the 1980 U.N. Convention on contracts for the international sale of goods. You agree that jurisdiction over and venue in any legal proceeding directly or indirectly arising out of or relating to this site (including but not limited to the purchase of www.instrumentalley.com products) shall be in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California. Any cause of action or claim you may have with respect to the site (including but not limited to the purchase of www.instrumentalley.com products) must be commenced within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arises. www.instrumentalley.com's failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these terms and conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right.
