This is a great guitar and is high quality!
I cant believe the price and how they can make these so good for so little! The only thing that I wasn't to happy about is how long it took to get it but it did arrive! I have to say it was worth the wait! This guitar has a really good sound! It sounds like a les paul it has an awesome growling type sound with the distortion! It also has a nice clean classic sound and sounds warm and bright with the flip of the switch! I love this guitar and recommend it for pros and beginners! I brought mine to guitar center and had it setup and now it really rocks! but even if you don't get it setup it still works great! Also this guitar is better than an epiphone and I know because I used to own one and didn't like it! this one is also a lot lighter and I like that about it to! This one is a diamond in the ruff! Buy them while you can you will be happy you did!

Oscar Schmidt has made the best Les Paul copy I've ever played. Beautiful, and great tone. Originally ordered from Amazon for $40 more, but it arrived from their warehouse banged up and the paint chipped.  Sent it back and got one from Instrument Alley came that  straight from Oscar Schmidt, and it was perfect.  D'Addario strings that were just a half note low.  Not the slightest defect and nothing that needed adjusted in the slightest.  And the sustain on this guitar when you just play it clean is amazing.  If you like LPs then get one of these. It's just as good as an Epi LP at less than half the price.

Nice reflective gold top. Back is a glossy cherry finish. (Impressed my brother when he saw it.) White binding is even around the edges. Fake-pearl inlays along the neck look convincing. Tuners hold well. Sounds good right out of the box, but the hardware NEEDS A SETUP for consistent action on clear tones.

Gives LP range--from twangy to buttery warm. The Bridge-Middle-Neck coils have no muddling sounds. Pickups distort nicely.

What matters most is the hardware, electronics and the wiring. And this is a guitar I'd have no problems displaying on stage or playing in a studio.

Came in perfect condition and very well wrapped.

This guitar is made by Washburn.The fit and finish on it are excellent,and it plays and sounds very sweet.I own two other guitars that cost 3 to 4 times this one, and they don't sound any better.For under $200 this guitar is a great buy.

love the guitar, glad I purchased the case w/it since it has been in more states than I have.
3 way switch is a little cheezy.
Overall best lp copy I have played.

I recently bought this guitar. It is way way more than I expected and plays like a dream it took about five minutes to tune it. I have severe nerve damage in my left hand and now play with a slide. What a beautiful guitar and the sustain is unbelievable and you can tell they pay close attention in putting it together. I would expect this guitar to go for $500.00 and up. The customer service is exceptional too, they really care about the buyer and get back to you quickly if you need a question answered. I would recommend Instrument Alley to anyone wishing to purchase their product. I will be ordering from them the next time I need something!
