The JOYO Mjolnir High Gain Tube Amplifier is an amplifier head that
specially designed for creating the ultimate powerful metal tone. It
features deep low frequency, straightforward sound, wild distortion.
When we Input a guitar with twin coil pick ups it gave us the name, the
Mjolnir promises to become a companion walking into metal world.
We took the name from Norse mythology, Mjölnir ( try pronouncing it
MY-OL-Neer; or Mjolnir, Mjollnir, Mjölner, Mjølner, Mjølnir or Mjølne.
Anyway, it is the hammer of Thor, a major Norse god associated with
thunder. Mjölnir is depicted in Norse mythology as one of the most
fearsome weapons, capable of leveling mountains. In his account of Norse
mythology, Snorri Sturluson relates how the hammer was made by dwarves,
and how its characteristically short handle was due to a mishap during
its manufacture.
Although no dwarves have been involved in its design, the JOYO MJOLNIR
amp impressed us greatly at the Shanghai Prolight and Sound Music Show,
showcased as a new product for 2015.
The JOYO Mjolnir JMA-15 is designed by classical high gain circuit
which have two main channels: Channel 1 is CLEAN, PUSH is used for
boosting middle frequency and gain; Channel 2 is distortion, include
NORMAL and MID CUT, when it on NORMAL, you can obtain fierce modern
distortion, when on MID CUT, you will obtain a solid and heavy low
frequency. BOOST can be used by the two channels.
The JOYO Mjolnir JMA-15 has 4-8-16Ω three impedance outputs, can be
matched by any mainstream cabinet. LOOP can be connected with pedals
and designed LOOP BYPASS which you can BYPASS LOOP when it is
unnecessary to get a pure tube tone. The Foot switch is used for easy
channels switching during performance.
The JOYO Mjolnir JMA-15 is housed
within an all metal case, four ECC83, two EL84, 15W output, can be used
for practicing, rehearsal and performance.
