When it comes to solid value in a professional-grade banjo, Flinthill® has them all beat by a mile! Every Flinthill® has that elusive pre-war vibe and that authentic pre-war tone! Only the finest metal parts are used in these banjos—heavily plated in either gold or nickel. Our FHB-260 looks like no other banjo in its affordable price range-with its combination of high-gloss, black finish set off by glistening pearloid decorated with Art Deco designs.
 
Inspired by the great designs of Art Deco, this banjo showcases the decorative craftsmanship and high-end features of the pre-war movement. The banjo is covered with luminous pearloid on the back of resonator as well as on the peghead. There is also a “deco flower” pattern on both the resonator back and peghead and a deco fretboard inlay in M.O.P. The banjo comes with a one-piece resonator, a one-piece neck, 3-ply maple rim, nickel-plated hardware, a bound ebony fretboard and American Standard thread hardware. This model has a black gloss finish on the rim, resonator sides and neck. Authentic Mastertone-style tone ring and flange.

    4 of 5 really sounds good for the money July 26, 2014

    The banjo needed work before it was playable. Needed the frets leveled and dressed,I changed out the head to an american made remo, the tailpiece was flimsey so I changed it and put on a compensated bridge. But it was worth it for the price this banjo costs it sounds great now and plays easy. Looks cool too
