The Seymour Duncan SH-1 '59 Model Electric Guitar Pickup is built with the same kind of enameled wire, nickel-plated studs, and balanced coil windings that humbucker inventor Seth Lover used in his first pickups. It looks and sounds just like a '59. Available in multiple colors!
The “SH” Humbucker series is designed for the original/classic string spacing of Gibson humbuckers (1.95” (48.9mm) measured center of high string to center of low string over the bridge pickup.) If that space is greater than 2.00” (or 50.0mm), use a Trembucker (“TB”) in the bridge position. Available in black, white , zebra (cream & black), or reverse zebra (B, W, Z, or RZ) as well as the following colors at $3.00 upcharge—red, pink, green, light blue, dark blue & yellow. (custom colors may delay shipment lead times)

Late-'50s, vintage-correct, humbucker sound. Warm and crystalline clean tones. Full and bright distorted tones. Smooth sustain. Classic appointments include plain enamel wire, long legged bottom plate, vintage single conductor cable and no logo. Compared to the SH-55 Seth Lover, the '59 has slightly more scooped mids and is vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance.
