Description
The LH-309's top is hand-carved and hand-graduated solid Spruce. We've carefully placed our own P-90 pickup in the perfect spot. The classic high output and articulate treble response of the P-90 is the ideal complement to the spruce top and maple back and sides, excellent for either rhythm or lead playing.
With a 16" lower bout and a classic 24-3/4" scale, the LH-309 is a nod to original Golden Age archtop designs.
Modeled after American designs from the early 20th century, The Loar’s LH-300 offers a laminate archtop guitars with a presence and tone that rivals even all-solid models from other makers. LH-300 is an authentic replica of the original archtop acoustic guitars from the 1920’s. This guitar features the same style and appointments of it's bigger brother, the LH-600 and 700 but with a laminate maple back and sides. The LH-300 comes in black or sunburst and is finished with Open Gear Grover Butterbean tuners and a polyurethane finish instead of the Nitro on the other models. This guitar has a three piece mahoghany neck with a vintage V profile. Jazz players and archtop enthusiasts will love this low-priced professional model.
