Description Technical Specs

In the last 30 years, the Irish Bouzouki has come to the forefront of the Celtic Music scene. Played in a variety of tunings, the pairs of strings are often tuned A-D-G-C, and octave below the mandola. The deep, rich voice of the Irish Bouzouki is perfect for accompaniment as well as lead and solo work. Trinity CollegeŽ, with the introduction of its TM-375 Irish Bouzouki, has answered the prayers of all the players who have no other choice but an expensive, "boutique" instrument. The TM-375 offers the same quality, style and sound for far less cost. Every TM-375 is fully shop-adjusted prior to shipment, and each is furnished with a deluxe, hard shell case.

Trinity College instruments are designed for traditional Celtic music, though they are used in a wide variety of other styles as well. This is a new Trinity College bouzouki with a factory warranty...

Workmanship and materials are expuisitie throughout. Top quality, all-solid wood construction by highly skilled craftsmen using select, solid, close-grained mahogany for necks and top quality rosewood for fretboards assures that every Trinity College bouzouki is of the highest possible quality.

The traditionally-styled body is complemented by an elegant snakehead peghead with a distincitve abalone inlay in the black-white-black overlay. Slim, fast neck with adjustable truss rod assures maximum playing ease. The X-braced soundboard produces a rich, mellow tone with great projection. Cosmetic details include mother-of-pearl position inlays, ivoroid binding and durable high-gloss finish.

The neck has a nice white binding with black dot position indicators. This is a superb bouzouki as finely crafted as you could ask for...Definitely a professional instrument through and through.

4 of 5 Solid Bouzouki February 20, 2017
Reviewer: Robert from WA United States
Structurally a solidly build zouk, has better    spruce top wood than I'd hoped with lots of silky cross grain. Good fret work and string relief. Very bright with good sustain, treble is less audible than the basses so use more stiff pick attack (may be due to the over application of the clear finish coat.Bridge may need string groove adjusting but spacing and heights are very close and usable as is. As a retired long time string repairman I'm thinking of re finishing it with hand rubbed goma laca. Heavy neck due to the truss rod so needs a good strap as well as better strings. I'm going with d'addarrio unison. Nice case which has the handle too far back. I already put a new one on further forward where it's nicely balanced. I wanted a Flyde but for the amount this one will get used and the lower cost I'm glad to have this TC Bouzouki. Very good value in todays market. Arrived in good time. Two other items were slow in getting to me. This seller needs to up his communication game.

5 of 5 Awesome instrument at a great price! January 17, 2016

Saga Musical Instruments has been making fine-quality instruments for years and their bouzouki does not disappoint. I would put the quality of workmanship and playability equal to other instruments I have seen at three times the cost. You will not regret purchasing this bouzouki! Great job as always Saga!

4 of 5 Almost perfect August 11, 2014
Reviewer: Joseph Strong from Delia, KS United States
First off let me say the TM-375 is a wonderful instrument in all ways, and a lot of fun to play.  I play a Taylor guitar, so I am used to a higher end guitar sound, but I love the tone of this instrument.  With that said, I did have to adjust the bridge some to get the intonation correct up the neck.  This was not hard, but I paid for the setup which should have taken care of this.  And if the bridge can move in shipping there should be instructions on how to set it again.  Again, it's easy but I had to go online to diagnose the problem and find the fix.  Also, I waited awhile for a new case, because of a design flaw (handle position) on the old one, but the case that finally shipped clearly just had the handle shifted - it was not new, and still not balanced well, just as good as it could be.  Anyway, still a great instrument and I am too busy enjoying the instrument now to worry about the case!
