Delivery Excellent / A little too mellow

The order process and delivery was excellent but the instrument un-amped is a little mellower than I'd like it to be. However amp is it fine.

Prompt international delivery with USPS

Ordered the Uke with USPS (cheapest international method) on the 16th Dec and received it in Spain on the 7th Jan. So about 3 weeks.
I had to pay an extra 45 euros duty at the post office, however was aware that there was probably duty on the Uke.
It arrived in great condition and now just needs a tune up!
Thanks! can't wait to start playing!

Beautiful Instrument!

Today I received the Oscar Schmidt OU7TE Spalted Mango Tenor Ukulele, and was amazed by the beauty of the detailing and the wood. It is book-matched on front, back and sides, and has fairly wild figurative grain - please give my thanks to the customer service person who chose this one for me!
I plugged it in and have been playing the heck out of it all afternoon. A pleasure to play. It is well set up, intonation is good, and as soon as the strings stopped stretching it stayed in tune. I appreciate the fact that the pre-amp doesn't have an on/off switch, so I won't forget and run the battery down.
The matt black ebonite tuners give it a classic look. I have noticed a few minor manufacturing tool-marks in the finish at the base of the fingerboard, which I think adds to the beauty.
