The Triolian has a neck that joins the body at the 12th fret, while Duolians join at the 14th fret.

first i like to thank Instrument Alley for really excellent service.
as for the RC-43, it's a nicely built guitar,beautiful in fact but i was disappointed in the sound-it did not give me that 'bluesy' tone i was looking for in a steel body-if i  had paid full price for this guitar i would have returned it-but because of the discounted price-i spent a few extra bucks on upgrading it, now it's ace. personal pref you could say but now i'm much happier w/ the guitar.
