Oscar Schmidt introduces a hand made select group of classic warm tone and sustaining volume ukeleles reminiscent of a bygone era. The OU220SWK Concert and OU240SWK Tenor instruments are made of beautiful ribbon striped and solid quartersawn mahogony in a satin finish.

Manufactured on the island of Java, these instruments offer a mozaic rope rosette and top binding, a 19 fret flame nyatoh neck with an ebony headstock and bridge. The pearl logo and fingerboard, along with the pearl snowflake inlay complement the instrument design. The models come with deluxe Grover GH305 tuners with ebonite buttons, NuBone nut and saddle and Aquila strings. Deluxe hard shell case included.

This little uke is very pretty. It has a nice sound. I had to lower the action a bit more. Tuners needed tightening but that was a simple fix I could do. Seems well built and the case is excellent. If I was picky, there are a couple of cosmetic varnish drips on the back. Just adds character. Looking forward to years of good music. Great solid uke for the price. Shipping was fast too. Happy with my order!
