The new Baltimore Do It Yourself electric guitar kit includes everything you need to build your perfect strat and the only tool you need is a phillips screwdriver. This is a fun way to learn about the electric guitar in a hands on way. No soldering is required because the pickups come pre-wired, all you have to do is plug them in. The kit includes a blank headstock which can be cut to your own design making it the only part of the package that requires cutting. Throw on your own favorite finish to this solid basswood body and start assembling!

Definately worth it!! i was actually able to add upgraded pickups and it sounds Awesome! A must have if u want to have the privilege of crafting your very own instrument

I bought this kit to build as a Christmas present for my brother.  Being a percussionist myself I have limited knowledge of stringed instruments.  This kit was SUPER easy to assemble and everything fit just as it came with no alterations of parts.  The only complaint is that the body was pre treated with something that made the design I had intended for the guitar very difficult.  Overall a great deal though, I will most definately be buying more to build in the future.
