In 1930, the United States government issued a patent for this fingerpick, which became the fingerpick all others would copy. Proudly etched on the picks' face are the National logo, the original patent number, the U.S.A. make, and NP2 model number for easy identification.

The NP2 is made in America from the best nickel silver available, providing a smooth, comfortable, and fully adjustable fit, as well as a brilliant, vintage-American sound.
