The Morgan Monroe MFB-4DX/C Appalachia banjo is part of the new "Foggy Mountain" series of professional banjos. This is a reasonably priced instrument which you would expect to pay much more for. The Morgan Monroe MFB-4DX features a solid flamed maple resonator and neck. A solid ebony fingerboard on a solid maple neck is set of with highly detailed mother of pearl inlay in a vine pattern. The Appalachia features a one piece gold flange and a sweet toned bell brass tone ring. Looks aside, this instrument plays smooth and easy and has a loud cutting bite! Each Morgan Monroe banjo passes strict quality standards. Great care is taken to make sure your instrument arrives safely.
