Description   The Morgan Monroe M-KOA- dreadnought acoustic guitar features a combination of stunning looks and warm, inviting tone. The Morgan Monroe Imperial Koa Series of acoustic guitars begin by harvesting the finest indigenous low density koa wood for not only looks but more importantly, its unique tonal properties which some say range from a warm sounding mahogany to a brighter sounding rosewood. Well balanced for fingerstylists and superbly defined warmth and projection for players that demand the ultimate in playability, each Imperial Koa model featues scalloped forward shifted X bracing. This bracing allows the soundboard to freely radiate at high sound pressure levels while tetaining all the subtle nuances that only a high grade tropical hardwood can produce.
