Description   Johnson has taken their Bouzouki and Octave Mandolins back to their roots and “reintroduced” a line designed from traditional Celtic models. The MA-450 Bouzouki is made from all solid woods. Only choice spruce with tight, uniform grain is chosen. The back and sides are made from hard maple and the neck is mahogany, shaped for maximum comfort. Traditional X-braced soundboard is used, but the instrument is outfitted with an adjustable truss rod for modern reliability. Other features include multi-ply body binding, a rosewood fretboard and bridge, a compensated saddle, and high-quality chrome plated tuning machines. We even use a traditional Celtic knotwork design for the headstock inlay.
