Description

The Johnson Songwriter Series leads the way with a great sound and price. Imported Canadian Sitka spruce is used and pressed into a two-thirds solid and one-third laminate top. This gives the JG-670-12 a rich tone, while maintaining the stability of laminate woods. Imported Honduran mahogany for the back and sides are used to finish the guitar in a rich, brown color. The back is gracefully arched and accented with a herringbone backstripe. The neck is set with a traditional dovetail joint for a stable neck angle. The JG-670 12 String features a bound rosewood fretboard with well-dressed nickel/silver frets. In addition, a hand inlaid abalone rosette gives this guitar a striking look. Only select woods are used in the construction of this guitar, and the workmanship is very clean inside and out. The Songwriter Series provides players with highly affordable guitars with many features unheard of in their price range.
