I have owned a few johnson harps and I was accualy impressed with the quality of sound. I own a few of the hohner spacial 20's and hohner blues harps but these johnsons can realy hold their own. they dont have as rich of a tone as the hohners but they are great fun because of the ease to bend a note and you cant beat the price. if your going to wear out a harp practicing you might as well wear out one of these. honestly though it is the expierence of the musician that can make a cheap or expensive harp sound good or bad.

I purchased the set of Johnson blues king harmonicas and was dissapointed that four of the twelve leak air fairly badly, G,A Ab and Eb. Three others leak air a little. C,D, B,Bb. So im not real impressed with them. Of the ones that work good I am impressed with the quality of the sound though. After fixing the G harmonica though th esound is much better and i am able to play everything i wanted to with it. I would recommend them but only if you know how to fix air leaks.
