Gold Tone Lap Steel - Purchased June 2007 September 26, 2007 Reviewer: Gary from Hayden, AL United States   This guitar is outstanding.  The wood grain is beautiful, and the body binding accents it wonderfully.   The instrument that I received had chrome tone/volume knobs (like on a Tele), which is different than the photo shown on this website.  This was a plus!   Initially I tried an Open G Tuning (Dobro), but then switched to Open E tuning and this guitar really came to life.   I am pleased with my purchase.
