Gold Tone introduces the CEB-5 Cello Banjo. The 5 string cello banjo, originally used in turn of the century banjo orchestras, has been redefined in this Gold Tone model. Great for classical style, but also may be tuned 1 octave lower in a variety of tunings and played by any banjoist for unique voicings, lead, lines and accompaniments. The 14” body is very loud and the brass tone ring extends its punchy tone. The shortened scale makes fingering easy. It uses nylon high tension classical strings. Includes deluxe archtop hard shell case.

I know what it's like to run an online business. I read the reviews before purchasing. It took a day for him to respond. When he did, he answered questions quickly and correctly. The handling was about 5 days I think? And then it was shipped. It was packed well and is one of my favorite instruments. Will do business again. Oh asnd he price matched. Can't find a cheaper / better experience elsewhere. Nice guy.

The CEB-5 is an excellent banjo. Could not be more pleased with it. Comes with a very nice case and sounds great. The wide neck and string spacing takes some getting used to.
