Features include: hand-selected solid spruce used for the top and book-matched, eye-catching Brazilian rosewood used for the back and sides, a custom designed mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard – shaped to John’s specific dimensions, and tortoise style body binding, sound hole rosette and tailpiece insert. Certainly a striking appearance at first glance, though its visual appearance is just one aspect that makes this guitar so special.

 

Working with the "Modern Gypsy Swing Master," Gitane's luthiers have developed the Gitane DG-320 Selmer-Maccaferri Style Jazz Guitar Modele John Jorgenson Signature their first signature model guitar. Solid spruce top generates great midrange and sparkling highs while rosewood sides and bookmatched back provide crisp definition. Mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard are shaped to Jorgensen's specs. Oval position markers, tortoise body binding, and tailpiece insert for a totally distinctive and luxurious look.
